Degotoga

Degotoga's humble beginning started within the small town of Yuccula, a distant town in the middle of the woods and nearby mountains. There, the shifters were encouraged to use their other forms often, and so the majority of families used their forms on the daily. As a cub, Dego never really left his furrier form, and instead he and his pack of friends would go running off, playing as cubs often do. The trio would do just about everything together, and weren't often seen apart in the daylight hours. Each night, somebody was staying at somebody elses's house and they were always with each other during the day. They grew up together, and that was the simplicity of the friendship. However, as they got older and grew into their teenage years, they began to become more adventurous and curious about the world, to the point where the three decided, against their parents wishes, to go and camp out in the mountains. They thought nothing of it, since they had their other forms, but they never really thought that a large white bear would come and invade their camp. That was how Dego got the scars on his face and shoulder, trying to defend his friends from the bear while also running away from the large thing. Thankfully the bear wised up after the cubs ran back to the large group of lions outside, but Dego will never forget the look on his mother's face... nor the punishment he rightfully deserved that she gave him shortly after.

Once he became an adult he decided to open up a coffee shop, since, as he often says, after the whole bear escapade, he realized he had had enough of the surviving and wanted to get to living. And what's better than living in a place where you get to serve coffee all day? His business has been doing well since he started it nearly twenty years ago, and he enjoys the life that he's been given. Due to the cities strict regulations against shifters, he doesn't use his form that often anymore... but in the evenings he still likes to wander out into the woods in the form he's so fond of.
