Look What You Made Me Do by Taylor Swift - Kifo was set up by Msaliti, made to take the blame for a murder he did not commit. That moment forever changed how he felt towards his sister, as one would expect. Kifo's life has been flipped upside down as his entire pride has looked upon him in disgust, with few even so much as suspecting that not everything is as it seems. In his attempts to help his sister, he got set up, and now he is waiting for the chance to expose her for the liar that she is. Kifo has had to work his way up from the bottom as he tries to clear his name, and is sick of what Msaliti has put him through. She played him for a fool.

greatest enemy:

Kifo's greatest enemy is, without a doubt, Msaliti. His sister was, at one point, one of his closest friends. Kifo would have done anything to help her...but, as it turns out, she would much rather throw him under the bus than help him. Kifo lost everything because of his sister; he was stripped of his name and given one meaning "death" instead, was demoted to the lowest of ranks, and was regarded as a murderer by everyone. On top of that, Kifo has no way to prove it was Msaliti, because any proof that there might have been has long since been destroyed. That isn't even mentioning the fact that Msaliti has made it very clear that she will retaliate if he tries to expose her. Kifo is trapped between a rock and a hard place; if he doesn't expose her, he will never clear his name, and his pridemates will always believe he killed his own father, but if he does try to expose her, there is no guarantee that he will succeed, and Kifo doesn't know how many people will get hurt in the process. Still, Kifo cannot stand to see the lioness that Msaliti has become, especially when she is so successful in her endeavors (despite them being built on lies).

den:

Kifo's den is a mess; there's no other way to describe it. Granted, it isn't entirely his fault. As the Isle of Rose's Witness, Kifo has the smallest den in the pride; it is cramped and has a crack in the ceiling that lets water trickle in when it rains. Still, Kifo could probably keep it tidier and allow himself to have more space in there, but since there wasn't much space to begin with, the mess can't really be attributed to his own organization. Kifo's nest is meant to be in the corner of the den, but due to the cramped quarters, it ends up taking up half of the den. The roof also slants in that corner, so if Kifo sits up in his nest, more often than not he smacks his head off the roof. Of course, Kifo also doesn't bother to sort the trinkets he picks up (not that he would have anywhere to store them if he did), so the other side of the den is littered with knickknacks he has picked up, like pretty rocks or feathers or other baubles he has found in the pride's territory. There are also a few stray bones from prey he has eaten which Kifo insists he will get cleaned up sooner or later. However, since no one wants to come to his den, there's never any incentive to, so it stays a mess.
