Alex is usually quiet and soft spoken, with the exception of when he's with his friend Scanner. His quietness usually make him seem stnadoff-ish
He rarely shows emotion though when overwhelmed with either anger or sadness it usually comes out. He is seen as very cold hearted by strangers.

Alex was a normal human boy until an accident caused by a Project Alpha mission nearby. He was saved from death by Operator, however was badly injured and could die if nothing was done. Alex's father just happen to be the creator of the Little Weapon project, as well as android CR-15, and used his expertise to save his son.
After having his mind, and a few vital organs that survived, to a new robotic body he awoken with no memory. This broke his father causing him to commit suicide. With no living relatives, Operator and Scanner took him in and formed the new Project Beta to finish what Alex's father started.

As Projet A1-3X, Alex has no memory of his past life, feeling that it's been robbed from him and the one person who could have possible fixed this (his father) is no longer there. He feels he is no longer human so he rejects his emothions. Despite his loss of emotions, the chemistry between him and Scanner is still there.
