Nocturne Winchester

"Prodigy?" Do prodigies have to work hard to get far? I think prodigy is a word used by those who could not get there to describe those who have. But did they see the effort I have put in? If they did... surely they would not call me a genius again...

Nocturne Winchester. Third child of Uranium and Panna Cotta makes him the middle child. Close to his parents, but perhaps closer to his brother, Mirano.

He has an interest in the piano since a tender age, and has been playing since, expanding his skills to the violin and the flute, although the piano remains his most distinguished skills. He has won most, if not all the contests he had been in, earning himself quite a name in the industry. In his teens, he once sprained his wrist from excessive playing, and the experience forced him to stop playing for a while. That, however, has helped him make friends and see the world beyond the four walls that made up his practice room.

Nocturne grew fond of Chopin Nocturnes, perhaps because he was named after them. He learnt to play it in his own style, which though did not sit well with the judges, he became a hit amongst the audience.

At the age of 21, Nocturne had decided to end his concert hall carreer, wanting to do more in the world than please a small, elitest audience. It would be his first time on an adventure, not knowing where his path would lead...

• He has quite bad table manners compared to the rest of his family, mainly because he is used to eating quickly to get back to practice.
• His flute is made by Sithis, and is the only one made by said bean. According the Nocturne, it was the best flute he had ever used. Sithis... isn't so sure about that.
• From all his time in the concert rooms and grand receptions, he has become quite a drinker with a high tolerance.

Mate

No one is quite sure how Nocturne and Helios met. Nocturne himself, loses his memory of Helios, but knows that he is looking for someone. It was only 10 years later, that the two meet again. Nocturne had promised Helios that he would find someone else. However, he never really did. Like Helios, he decided to promise the same thing: "I will live in abstinence, never to love another apart from you."

Mirano

Brother

Mirano may be an adoptive brother, but with so many children in the family, Nocturne found himself being in the elder's care more frequently than not. On his bad days, Nocturne would cuddle up against Mirano and complain. Mirano, a good listener to begin with would always manage to cheer him up and give him good advice. Perhaps leaving Mirano as he grew up and started a life of his own is one of the hardest things he has had to do.

Brother

Nimmer and Nocturne, opposites in many aspects of their lives. Nocturne, the prodigy, genius, pride of the family and Nimmer, a rebel and outcast. It is not a surprise that the two do not get along as well as they would have hoped to be. However, it is also Nimmer who found his brother when Nocturne suffered from his heartbreak and left the city. Perhaps... the two had come to a mutual understanding?
