Sephora is capable of adapting to whatever situation/environment she's in with ease. She may have personal complaints or disagreements with certain conditions but she'll go along with it in most cases to suit her own needs. Being loyal and hard-working, Sephora is known to not slack off on her duties even when she doesn't want to do them as well as maintaining loyalty to those in authority. Purely whole-hearted, she never makes a decision without it being one-hundred percent. Normally, if she declares something, she does not waver or falter.

Courageous woman, she is. There is no hurdle that she has faced to make her cower… at least not in a long while. But as good as that may be, an air of stubbornness bleeds into her courage. First and foremost, Sephora is influenced by her own personal feelings and/or opinions. Sometimes that may work in an opposite person's favor or totally against it as she'll pick the side of– or go along with– whoever or whatever has won her over.

Any opportunity to gain some money or material things, she is likely to try it. Even if said task or job is risky… which leads to the point of her being a thrill seeker. Sephora thinks playing too safe is boring… not to say she is the type to barge in without a plan. However, the riskier choice might appeal to her. The thrill of surviving or accomplishing what seemed to be hopeless. If you're looking to confide in her with serious matters, she isn't the best person. Sephora approaches heavy topics facetiously and detaches herself to keep from having a dampened mood. This doesn't necessarily mean she has no care for the situation. But she is mostly looking out for her own well-being and if joking around helps, she'll do it.

Sephora was born to a busy and stressed family of six. Four rambunctious children close in age and she was another addition. Yet, her birth was highly anticipated like every other child. However, the rude awakening that came with holding her for the first time was a shock that the parents nor the family as a whole could grasp. “She’s a bird! Our baby is a bird!” 

The mother couldn’t seem to come to terms with such a bizarre occurrence. She was certain that Sephora wasn’t her child and that her baby girl had been switched. But the father knew better… and while he didn’t accept the idea either, he wanted to give raising her a try. However, it seemed hopeless. The mother practically neglected taking up any responsibility for the infant, deeming her a living nightmare and the other children required too much attention as it was. But a determined man he was. She was his only daughter, afterall.

Simply put, the roles switched a bit. Her mother returned to her work as the manager of a supermarket while her father worked a simple stay at home data input job. He’d spend most of their days looking after them all collectively until their mother would come home to assist. This arrangement seemed to work in their favor… but he was still left to do most of the caring for Sephora.

For much of her childhood, she could say that her dad was the super cool one! He got used to her running around with clawed feet and squawking pretty fast. At home, she was allowed to play around with her brothers like this, but she wasn’t allowed to have any physical contact with anyone in public for safety measures. Her relationship with her older brothers had plenty funtimes, at least for her. She wasn’t exactly the sweet sister and often got them in trouble and took their stuff for herself. The only one she could recall not having many early memories with was her mother. While the woman didn’t antagonize her, the two didn’t get along well and butted heads a lot. However, after an experience, the two gradually became closer.

<Sephora and her brothers were kids that got in trouble very easily because of their curiosity and adventurous nature. The particular incident that laid the path to her growing bond with her mother was one of these occurrences. On a night where they should have all been sleeping, Sephora and her third eldest brother snuck out onto the roof to play. She was 9 around this time as bold as ever, running around on the shingles. However, one slid from it’s secure spot and sent the girl sliding down the roof. The screams of the children alerted the parents, both running to get either kid. To her surprise, it was her mother that climbed out the window eagerly to pull her to safety. That was the first time she’d felt her embrace for as long as she could remember and her mother didn’t seem to show any discomfort with holding her “little bird”.

 In fact, she didn’t want to let her go that night.>

Life wasn’t really so bad for Sephora from then on. Schooling was rather mundane, minus the various fights or pranks she’d found herself involved in. ...Even a couple “bird” instances here and there. Though, it wasn’t always mischievous things that she’d get into… She really enjoyed engaging in clubs and things. By the time she was 18 and had the letter of invitation, her parents had been trying to get her to think about what kind of future she wanted to lead. So, she took up the offer and decided this was the path she’d take. 

For some time after arriving in EA, she found herself settling into her new home and starting her pursuit of wealth selling her own natural perfumes and assisting with any odd jobs that could bring in extra. Adapting to the lifestyle wasn’t very hard. In fact, she had more fun here than back home. Being surrounded by people like her and learning of Aevumis and Empyreal history made her even more intrigued about where exactly her future was headed. Would it be a fulfilling one? She'd like to know.
