BATTLE EDUCATION

Meri took up fighting on her own accord, insisting on it once she learned Glenn was to join the royal family. After being paired with a teacher, they picked a bow and arrow for her, pointing out her accuracy. She has practiced furiously with archery, wanting to prove she earned her spot as Glenn's right hand man.

WEAPON SKILL

Meri is incredibly strong, and her arrows benefit from it, going much further than some of the other archers. Her accuracy is deadly, though when she's rushed she can be become sloppy.

NO WEAPON SKILL

Thanks to her tireless training, Meri is formidable with her fists. She's rather covered up, so enemies may be taken aback by her ability to fight hand to hand combat. She doesn't worry terribly if she loses her weapon.

PERSONALITY

Outspoken. Brash. Confident.

Meri is a girl who could learn a little humility and modesty. She's a social, talkative sort who doesn't shy away from talking to people. Her personality makes her come off as a cliquey type, one that's part of the "in" crowd and giggles at those outside of it- though that's not necessarily true. Her bond with her best friend is just that tight, and it makes others feel like they aren't welcome in that space.

She has worked hard behind the scenes, but really isn't looking to do more than she has to at this point. Honestly, she's the sort of person who doesn't want others to notice how hard she's working or that she's putting in so much work. Mostly because she doesn't want people to start having expectations. Almost always spotted grinning or smiling.

About

Meri is born the only child to a noble family. She lived next door to Glenn, and the two became quick childhood friends. A tragedy that took his parents meant that the king himself- a close friend of the family- would adopt Glenn. It was at this point Meri decided she'd work hard to crawl her way to the top and earn her spot as Glenn's right hand man. 

During this time, she and Glenn would still see each other and write letters to keep in touch, never losing their relationship. Once it was time to join the Royal Academy, Meri easily won her spot as Next in Command.

Relationships

Glenn Helstrom [ best friend ]

Glenn has always been the first person Meri relies on, ever since they were kids. The two are the tightest of platonic friends, and tell each other everything. They're each other's hype man and always are there to pick the other up when they're down. They genuinely love each other's company, and are a perfect fit- thick as thieves and two peas in a pod. Often, they're spotted whispering and giggling to each other.

Celine Sterling [ friend ]

Meri starts getting close to Celine when they both realize they have the same 'problem.' It's a common ground, and since their past lives knew each other, it was sort of natural to begin to talk to one another. Meri is the talkative one, but her girlish streak can reach to Celine, whose generally quiet and withdrawn. Meri can tell that Celine- whose always only been surrounded by boys- enjoys their talks and loosens up. Meri, on the other hand, is the same old, same old. But she really does like Celine's company.

Azriel Demont [ friend ]

Just like Celine, Azriel himself has a past life coming to burden him, that connects him to Meri as well. This natural bond means more talking between the two. While it's too much to say they bicker and fight, the two do butt heads and it's hard to say they're close friends. Regardless, it's clear that at least on Meri's side, she's starting to care about him and his well being. There's a lot more bullying in this relationship than the others, by far. His gloomy attitude against the backdrop of her cheerful persona also makes for a lot of bouncing off each other, jabs and jokes aside.
