Blake

Personality:
Blake is a massive sweetheart who finds great joy in making other's smile. She's one to sacrifice her own well-being to help someone who needs it. She is very aware of mortality, and treasures her life and the people who are in it. She's easily broken if mistreated, but prefers to stifle her feelings until someone she cares about is willing to listen. She doesn't think twice about sharing her affection, but at times can become quite needy for some in return.

Bio:
Blake is one of the house spiders who was transformed into a functional humanoid hybrid in order to aid their superiors as workers. Although the witch who transformed Blake already had enough workers of her own in her knitting shop, she enjoyed sending help to other low-class proprietors who's production process was slow. After Blake learned proper etiquette, she was given the option to choose which of the many establishments to work for. She ended up moving a few towns over to work in an oriental bakery.

She spent many months learning to bake through trial and error, earning the hearts of the family who owned the bakery and many more. Although her looks were off-putting to the occasional new-comer, the family did their best to make her feel at home.

After a couple years of service to the bakery, the family was grateful and wanted Blake to go off and live her own life rather than continuing to work for them. Although she loved them as her own family, Blake accepted the offer, vowing to spread the work of their bakery along her travels... and that she did.

She didn't move too far from home, but far enough to spread the word in cities that would listen. She ended up creating her own branch of the bakery there and taking time every month to bring most of the profits to the original bakery.

She currently yearns for adventure, but is too afraid to venture far alone. Other than that, she finds bliss in the city she lives in and the people she has come to know.

+Along one of her travels back to the original bakery, she came across Ara, a curious spider girl who seemed to have been created by the same witch she had been created by.
+Ara's playful nature was enough to keep Blake's need for adventure at bay, as Ara had enough of it for the both of them. They grew closer over a period of months before wondering what it would be like if they were more than friends, and in the end, it turned out to be a wonderful relationship they both wouldn't regret.
+Blake enjoys baking in general, and puts a lot of time and effort into the sweets and goods she makes for people she cares about.
+She is usually trying to create new recipes with strange ingredients she finds.
