Backstory:

When she was alive she was very happy. She grew up with a supportive family and eventually found a mate who loved her very much, and she loved him just as much. They ended up having kits but only one kit survived birth, a small male runt of the litter. Marah's mate was upset about this and was very hard on the kit, abusing him verbaly and sometimes physically. Marah eventually confonted her mate about this and told him to stop hurtng her beloved son. They ended up having arguments about this normally, and one day Marah's mate desided to kill her with an arrow to her heart. Her one son was devistated for the rest of his life. Marah ended up becoming undead and at first wanted revenge on her mate but after seeing her son so upset she vowed to protect and care for his desendants. 

After generations, there is still one direct desendant of Marah's son, he is Berrie. Marah uses her ghost form to visit him whenever she can. She treats him as the gandson that he is, and loves him in a motherly way. Berrie will also visit her in Etheryllis when he gets the chance, as Marah is a history teacher there.
