Born to Lilith and Lucifer as their youngest son, he was born with his mothers animal features, while also being born with his fathers wrath. Something his brothers were also born with, but Aleksei's anger and power only seemed to be amplified. Because of this and because he was born with Albinism and his mothers features, he was also considered the 'abnormal' one of his family from a outsiders point of view, of people speculating if he was really Lucifers son or not. This mixed in with the fact he was considered to be the one with the 'mark of the beast' so to say, it was hard for him to socialize with other demons, as they were either fearful of him or didn't believe he deserved a spot on the throne.

Sel and Aleksei had met before as kids and used to be friends until Sel stopped showing up to their usual spot as she had moved in with Gran at the forest, a place he didn't have access to. Sel doesn't remember him, and he didn't remember her either until finding old childhood photos they took together on a old polaroid camera. And or visiting her dream realm. Aleksei knew Helios since they were kids as well, but that friendship turned for a sour turned once he went under Zeus's guidance.

Poppy and Aleksei used to be best friends as they would meet each other during their parents godly meetings and play and talk to each other, but as time went on and as they grew older, their friendship turned sour as his kitsune friends turned him into more and more bad habits as how he was treated by other demons begun to fester hatred in his heart.
