Stats
Hallow is a pumpkin monster who is always seen with the purple reaper, Jack, and sometimes their "underling" reaper-in-training, Apellow. He often appears by Jack's side as a little eyeless black cat and rides atop his head or on his shoulders.
Despite having no eyes, he is very good at games of hide-and-seek, because he'll detect even the tiniest of sounds. He loves to play games but won't stand for any dirty tricks. If you cheat, the gloves are off. He is extremely playful and prefers to troll people with riddles or roundabout answers instead of being direct.
Hallow has very cat-like behaviors and loves to curl up and hide in dark, small places. If given a box, he'll try to fit inside it...or completely crush it while trying to. He'll even arch his back when upset, stretching, or yawning. He swats and breaks things out of boredom or to get a rise out of others. He enjoys being pet or scratched on the neck, but anywhere else is a "no."
He was originally a demon who had grown tired of the endless loop that he could barely call "life." After wandering out into several planes of existence, he came across Jack, who bested him in a game. They became buds after that and signed a demonic contract. He has been following Jack around for years now, helping the reaper out with tracking down and collecting souls. When Jack isn't around to teach the intern, Apellow, Hallow takes his place (much to Apellow's dismay.) He's still a lot more nicer than other true demons out there, but it's because Jack's good will has been rubbing off on him.
His real identity is as the trickster demon, Halloi'luhmeire, or "Halloi" for short. "Halloi" is close but not actually his true name, either. That, too, is a trick. He gave it to himself to have a "mortal name" to identify by, and his current nickname "Hallow" was given by Jack. His real demonic name is only known to his master, Jack. Nobody else is allowed to speak it.
Hallow is different from other true demons, in that he doesn't go around devouring souls anymore. It makes him significantly weaker, but he does it to obey the rules of reaping and for his master. He's only allowed to devour a soul with permission, and it's often as a rare treat. He helps Jack herd lost souls back to the spirit world and babysits Apellow (despite the sheep's protests) when Jack is unable to.
He's much nicer than most demons, but only because Jack's "good will" has been rubbing off on him. It helps that his master teaches him about the value of life, otherwise he'd be swatting down every single living critter he came across for amusement.
Being a demon, Hallow has no real need for food and only requires the ocassional soul for power, but he still indulges in snacks. His favorite drinks are pumpkin spice lattes and tea. He indulges in both during autumn and winter.
He also eats pumpkins and pumpkin dishes; he doesn't consider it cannibalism.

Halloi'luhmeire, also known as "Hallow," is a pumpkin demon. He has no eyes - only "pockets" where his eyes would be in his different forms, but he does have a set of bent horns atop his head. If broken, his horns will bleed, but they can regenerate. His head resembles a rounded pumpkin shape with a jagged, large mouth, but his face can also be much pointier in form. His body is a thinly built frame with a shown ribcage, tall thin legs, and a super long tail with a black tuft; his body goes from a shiny orange to deep orange-red with black gradients on his legs. Some scruffy black fur runs down from his neck to his chest, with a bit on his wrists. He has long, sharp claws used for fighting.
While in pumpkin monster form, he emits a faint cinnamon pumpkin pie smell. If angry, he'll smell of rotting pumpkin.
Hallow is legally blind. He can't see colors and can only detect vague blobby shadows. The world appears as various shades of blurry grey and darker grey to his eyes. He relies on lighting conditions and ability to read magic auras to find his way around. He's still able to tell who is who judging by voice, magic aura, or movement just fine, though.
He can transform between a small cat, pumpkin monster, and his true demon forms with ease. His shadowy black cat form is also eyeless, and, instead, has glowing white symbols marked over where his eyes would be. He still has whiskers, for navigation.
His true form is rarely seen and only reserved for serious fights.
Hallow does not wear any accessories or clothing.
Hallow has dark magic powers and can shapeshift. His dark magic appears in a white color, similar to the light element, which confuses people.
He summons white rings that bind and cut his targets down. The rings are more used to restrain people or lasso runaway souls.

Hallow doesn't have a house. He follows Jack around instead.
Hallow was originally a true demon who had grown tired of the endless loop that he could barely call "life." After wandering several planes and on a hunt for some souls, he came across a reaper named Jack, who challenged him to a fun game. Jack had bested him in the end, but Hallow decided to stick around. They formed a demonic contract together.
Hallow has been following in Jack's footsteps for years now. While not officially employed, he works with the reapers and helps them track down lost souls. He deals with the troublemakers.
Hallow's master and friend - a reaper. Hallow is loyal towards Jack and fights at his command. He's protective over him and gets upset if people try to hurt him. A lot of his better behavior comes from how Jack has treated and taught him.
Hallow likes Apellow - the "intern" as he calls him. When Jack is busy, he takes place as the superior and tries to teach Apellow about reaper things. Unfortunately, Hallow isn't very good at reaper things, either.
