Amani

The stoic battlefield medic.  Quiet and somewhat grumpy, he takes his job very seriously, and keeps the Hybrid clan healthy both on and off the field.  Amani is an albino morph of his breeds - a rarity - who requires glasses to correct the side-effect of his imperfect eyesight.  Though he is not terribly skilled as a warrior, he is plenty strong and well-practiced when rescuing and defending fallen teammates.  His true talent on the battlefield lies in his steady focus, protective instinct, and ability to work delicate tasks under pressure.

He can use his blood to gift some of his super-healing to other people - which he does via transfusions and injections.  His O-negative blood contains cells that speed up the regeneration process of body tissues, as well as mutative antibodies that can fight off any infection or toxin.  By taking daily blood/tissue samples from himself, Amani is able to distill and condense the healing components into injections that can be used to target more specific injuries: such as bolstering broken bones, or re-growing shredded muscles.  Because his blood also carries an adaptable antibody bank, it can also be used as a cure-all for most diseases, and an antidote to any venom or toxin - provided he has been exposed to it.

Coming off as no-nonsense and somewhat aloof, Amani often has trouble bonding with his teammates.  He is an introvert with a particular distaste for anyone who makes his job as a medic more difficult than it needs to be - a source of conflict he develops with Ira.  Despite his commendable work ethic, Amani is not very passionate about the sciences, and rarely pursues them as a personal interest.  He prefers instead the company of people and more calming, domestic activities.
