Ali

One of the Alighieri Triplets, and the spiritual middle-child of the set.

Raised in Wraithbrook, Ali is a shut-in, even for their family. An aspiring poet and member of the town acting troupe, Ali prides themself on their knowledge of occult lore and obscure history, and even more on their amateur writing skills. Of course, their lane is less flowery descriptions of mundane life and more gripping mythological narratives; Homer, Virgil, Dante, Milton, etc. The cool poems. These more arcane interests have allowed them to cast themself as the solitary scholar on their journey of self-reflection.

A cambion, a half-demon, Ali and their siblings were born with some biological curiosities: physiological alliteration, a psychic link, and a natural aptitude for magicks. Where the other two specialize in their own unique demonic abilities… Ali’s seem a little more vague. They seem to possess an extremely limited form of hunch-based prognostication, that or they’ve just been lucky with guesses.

Ali spends their days working as a volunteer Library Assistant, skulking in the stacks and putting things back onto the correct shelves. They are also a proud member of the (basically nonexistent) local theatre scene, and are an impressive triple threat of singing, dancing and acting (and that's not even counting the writing). Unfortunately, despite their higher aspirations, they always wind up either behind the scenes or playing the villain.
