Undead. Was brought back by a strange necromancer after being sliced nearly in half during a "friendly" duel with one of his own party members.
His necromancer originally brought back a recently deceased soul at random just to be a bodyguard, but inevitably grew fond of this dumbass viera who managed to be killed by a blade JUST missing the whole two inches of shoulder armor he chooses to wear.
His body can not age, as it is preserved by the necromancers magic. If he were to cut his hair, it would not grow back without magical intervention, so he is a tad protective of it. He does bleed and feel pain, and while he could technically "live" without food or sleep, he would eventually run out of energy and not be able to move on his own anymore without magic directly controlling him like a puppet. If his necromancer's magic were to ever be disabled or taken far enough away from him, he would once again "die", though his body would remain preserved by the spells cast on it when he was first revived (His necromancer is too classy for the whole skulls and bones aesthetic lmao). His wounds can only be healed by unnatural means, and not by white magic as it does not mix well with the dark magics keeping him "alive".
- His eyes have a subtle reflective glow in the dark that also grants him better night vision.
