Mathias Rhys

Mathias Rhys was born to a twin, Colin. The two were adopted in their early baby years (around 3 years old) by two muggleborn wizards. The two used to both bleach their hair. However, eventually Colin let the color fade and Mathias continued bleaching his. It became a surefire way to differentiate the two. Shortly after the twins' 22nd birthday, the parents "accidentally" killed Colin. By the time Mathias's 23rd birthday rolls around, his heart issues caused him to die from a cardiac arrest. Some years later, some teens are playing with dark magic and accidentally bring Mathias back to life.

When Mathias came back to life, he had tunnel vision. He was hellbent on killing the people who ruined his life from early childhood and took his brother away. After he killed his parents, he came to have a twisted sense of reality that made him believe that all muggleborns are terrible and need to be killed to keep innocent people safe. By doing vocalizing this thought process at a bar one night, he was convinced to start back up the Death Eater cause. He wasn't originally sure if that was the way to go, but did so anyways. When Hakon joined his ranks, Mathias noticed him quickly and became interested in him. The two quickly became close.
