Mabi

The bright-eyed, confident armory warden.  Having grown up in the deep jungle clans of her parents, Mabi was taught the art of forging dusksteel - the infamous black metal used in Anima tools - as well as other forms of metal and woodworking.  She developed a passion for it, and took to the crater forges with gusto - using her skills to help procure an armory much more diverse and refined than the Hyenas' simple swords, and Caecius' makeshift harvest weaponry.  She collaborates with teammates like Rosa, Arcana, and Kazan to marry her smithing and design skills to more advanced technology; resulting in some of her proudest feats of interlocking mechanics, as seen in the Hybrids' contracting armor and weapons.

Mabi has a natural talent for bladed tools (and desire to practice with them) that carries over into her combat skills - making her a very dangerous opponent no matter what she's wielding.  However, her most notable lethality comes from her venom - a combination of neurotoxins and calliotoxins from her mothers' distinguished heratige, that paralyzes her target almost immediately.  Although her venom shares many similarities with Raicouda's, the two are almost inverted in function:  Rai must keep his target moving to quickly circulate his more lethal toxin, while Mabi can disable a target, but usually must finish the job by hand.  

Between her looks and her Snake-blood accent, Mabi tends to intimidate people at a first meeting.  However, she is quite social, with a knack for group dynamics that help her bond with her teammates.  She and Daemar are known for their rapport as romantic partners - and function well as a unit both on and off the field.
