Josephine Vespula

Josephine, nicknamed Joey by her close friends, is a shy girl that lives with her older sister, who acts as her carer. Her mother works away for months at a time, so she doesn't interact with her very much. She is very bright, but can be socially awkward and has little friends. She agreed to becoming a 'magical girl' alongside Lily because she thought it would help her open up more and make more friends. Instead, she found that it just made her life more difficult and she sometimes finds regret in her decision.

She has the ability to manipulate insects and to an extent arachnids. She can control their actions, using huge swarms to her advantage. She also has mastered the venoms produced by certain species, coating her daggers in these deadly substances.
