Melie

Melie is adventurous and eager, but a bit reckless. She doesn't think twice before jumping into something new, no matter her progress on her previous task.

Melie's awakening went as follows: Twigs and leaves pulled at the girl's coat and hair as she squeezed through the bush. “Hurry, hurry” called a voice from behind her. She gave a carefree laugh as she pulled herself free. “Don’t worry!” She dashed up the porch steps and quietly edged open the door. Slipping inside, she heard voices in the hall. Perfect. The shortcut through the kitchen was clear. From the open jar of honey on the counter next to the hot loaf of bread, she didn’t have long though. As she hurried and turned the corner past the items, a leaf fell from her hair as she continued on. The leaf slowly floated down before landing in the honey jar. The jar began to shimmer and glow. Shortly, the girl came back in, now carrying a small brown satchel, just to see a flash of light, leaving behind a young girl with long green braids. She tilted her head, topped with fluffy ears, back and forth a few times as her glassy yellow tail swished in time. The human girl's jaw dropped. In her shock, she didn’t hear the approaching footsteps until they were upon her. “What did you do!” the woman screamed at the girl, her eyes darting back and forth between her and the new arrival. “I’m Melie. Hehehe!” the vial piped up, before picking up a slice of bread next to her and biting into it.

Now, Melie wanders the Polaris realm with her friends, getting into all sorts of trouble.
