Violet Sentry was orphaned at a young age and was living on the streets with (TBA) for a long while before being found and eventually adopted. Prince Akureyri himself had gone into the forest--accompanied by his guards, of course--to do some research on plants when he found the duo; Violet Sentry was instructing her companion not to eat specific berries because they were poisonous when he found them. Both were malnourished beyond belief, and he saw to it that they were brought back to Olessi immediately, his current task pushed aside in the face of their crisis. The two were nursed back to health and took up jobs around the castle since they didn't really have anywhere else to go. When Violet Sentry came of age, she expressed interest in joining the guard, and began training the following season.

While her special talent isn't all that useful on the surface, it came in handy during survival drills while she was training. She has become an expert of using her environment to her advantage, from camouflage to sustenance, and upon completing her training and receiving her badge, she's become an excellent addition to the guard. Her post isn't always in Olessi, but it's definitely her favorite...and it's definitely not just because she has a mega-crush on the prince.
