As the zombie messiah of the group, Odin has to deal with most things involving major amounts of the Infected, by which he is completely ignored.
A while into the apocalypse Odin found himself to be the only survivor in his group that hasn't symbioted with the fungi, expected not to be immune to the virus, a fact of which was proven to be true when he was attacked viciously by an infected mansized spider.
After losing a battle to it, it took a while for the group to find his passed out body stuck in the infected webs. They managed to free him of them but alas he was already infected. Though the fungus hadn't won the battle in his bloodstream just yet, and so Emery and Atarah combined their symbiotic powers to try and push back the infection as far as possible before the fungus takes over his body entirely.
After long and stressful nights of heavy fevers, illness and vomit, Odin finally seemed to be stabilised. His body has remained in its mutated half infected state since then, though he seems to be functioning just fine as a human with the added perks of being accepted by the Infected as one of them and much sharper eyesight in the dark. However, his body is even more sensitive to the fungi than before and he has to take great care in protecting himself from his system being attacked once more and overtaken completely.

Odin mostly takes role of leadership within his group as he did before the apocalypse. He is quite reserved and distrusting, near never taking any kinds of chances with strangers and defined by a quick hand in killing and survival. With his loved ones, however, he is a complete protective softie that seeks to get them all to safety as best as he can.
