Rua

The mother of Caecius.  About one year before meeting Caecius' father, she had been transferred from her birthclan to another, larger Wolf-blood clan as part of a planned expansion.  After her scandal of breaking the Beta's law, and the birth of her crossbreed son, Rua was relieved of her title.  

She spent a handful of years raising Caecius on the outskirts of her alienated clan, before he was taken to be trained at the Red Crater.
