Personality: Cain is extremely dominant and powerful, a true born alpha. He is fair, a good listener, compassionate, and respectful. He is also smart, level-headed, and usually stays calm and collected. He uses logic as well as emotion to help him make the best decisions possible for his pack, family, and himself. He thinks things out thoroughly before acting and never reacts on impulse or in the heat of the moment unless he absolutely has to. He knows when to be forceful and display his authority but also allows others to be themselves without always being forced into things. He is well liked by those in his pack, his family, and his friends. He is also feared by other packs as a very strong wolf because of his reputation, though also respected. He has several contacts and ties stretched out across the country and several allies with other packs.

Design Information: He is completely symmetrical. Eyes are a golden yellow color. He has a scar that runs vertically over his right eye. Both ears have the tips torn/chewed off leaving them slightly wavy and mauled. He has very fluffy cheeks, neck, chest, shoulders/upper back, and tail. Slightly fluffy on his chin. He also has huge paws, a very broad chest and broad shoulders but is lean everywhere else.

Backstory: Cain was born into a small pack, consisting of only 17 wolves. His father was the alpha of the pack. He was the only child his parents could ever conceive. They tried to have others but the pregnancy would never make it to term. His parents doted on him and taught him everything they could. His mother taught him how to be a kind person, to be respectful of others and to always consider their feelings and that they may be going through more than what was on the surface. His father taught him about rules, power, strength, and how to be a good leader/alpha. His father also taught him how to fight but to be smart about it and how to read his opponent. Cain was well loved by everyone in the pack.

When Cain was ready and his father had grown older and tired Cain took over the role of alpha in the pack. It was a smooth transition and no one in the pack was upset about it. He was the perfect replacement for his father and as everyone loved having his father as their alpha it was easy for them to switch their loyalties to him.

Most of the members of the pack were older. They did not go out and mate or bring in new members. Because of this, the packs numbers dwindled to a mere 11. With the pack so small other packs with young alpha’s thought they could try to claim the territory for themselves and would challenge Cain. Cain was a good fighter and smart so he won all of the challenges issued to him. Word spread of how strong he was so he developed a reputation that instilled fear in others. The challenges stopped and he was able to go back to peace with his pack. He walked away from the ordeal with mauled ears and a scar over his right eye.

Now that his pack’s numbers have been reduced to 6 from the others passing from old age or illness he has decided to relocate the remaining members. He is hopeful that moving to a new area will help him find and add new members to the pack so they can grow and flourish. He still has both parents, and he still turns to them for advice. With his parents and the other three members, they are doing a bit of traveling around to find the right location where everyone feels comfortable, there is plenty of land to claim as their territory, and that has neighboring packs or at the very least, a shifter population to help their pack grow.
