The father of Caecius. He was sent to a Wolf-blood clan as a candidate stud for the hybrid project, though he did not know at the time. After failing to pressure him into courting their selected dame, the Alphas discovered he had instead sired a child with another Beta, breaking the Beta's law and upending their plans for the crossbreed clan. Although Sage tried to flee with his infant son, he was captured and hasn't been seen since.
