Koro Sienne

Personality:

Koro is generally lighthearted and friendly, tending to care more about others rather than paying attention to herself. She is loyal and can be a bit motherly and overbearing when she cares about you. Koro is a powerful and skilled fighter, and of average intelligence. She is a pacifist and prefers to avoid conflict altogether, much to the disdain of others who would find her strength helpful in their battles. She tends to avoid acknowledging others flaws to maintain peaceful relationships with even those she disagrees with, and has a bit of an avoidant personality. She can be confusing to strangers because of her combination of asocial and gregarious traits. In private, Koro is more melancholy - her lightheartedness generally something she performs for others. Koro is generally well liked by humans because of her diplomatic presence between them and Haidens, as well as her easy to swallow public persona.

Backstory:

Koro longs for a simple life, but was born into a difficult position. The child of the strongest queen Mars Haides has ever known, her people expected a lot of her from a young age. Her deferrence of responsibility got her the nickname "lazy princess" among many upper class haidens. Koro spends a lot of her time on Earth with friends she made during a transfer student situation that she was initially sent on to gain information for conquering the planet. She has been pushing for Mars Haides to maintain diplomatic relationships with other planets..

Part of Koro's hesitation to take responsibility was knowing that she would have to prove that she was more powerful than her mother in combat. Not wanting to hurt someone she loved, she pretended for a long time that things could stay the way they were despite the queen facing clear psychological changes. When it became apparent that the queen was becoming mad with power, Koro regretfully stepped up and overtook her by force and has been making changes to Haiden society to decrease the strictness of their social castes and increase the liberties of all Haidens. Koro has always hidden a manageable melancholy side, but since taking power she carries a deep sense of trauma and pain that has become harder for her to hide, resenting the systems that wrote her fate.
