Istyn is the head of her city's town guard. She's a very powerful magic user, she's been studying magic since she was a young teen, so she's very quickly become one of the most powerful magic users in her city. The town relies on her to keep them safe and hidden from the terrifying monsters and bandits that live in the kelp forest surrounding their home. She takes it upon herself to ensure that everyone can life a safe and happy life.
