Usage: Firstly, I'd like to state that he would be part of my long-time world creation project that's so far titled 'Crossroads Coast', after one of the capital cities of the world. I've been working on this world for years and am just now starting to finalize and write out things for it, which is going to be a long process. The reason as to why it's taken so long and continues to take awhile is because I'm neurodivergent and struggled with task initiation, which I'm now getting help with. So, hopefully you won't have to wait too long to see content of this character! If I do end up getting them, please be patient with me, even if you don't see content of him, I promise I've been working on his character as well as the rest of Crossroads Coast, I'm just not ready to post yet.

Name: Luyan

Birthday: 5/12/????

Personality: Kind, Nature-loving, Soft, Foodie, Cute, Bright, Happy, Loving, Caring, Patient, Child-like

Story: Luyan is the patron god of spring, beginnings, new things, happiness. His powers are plant-based, ranging from generation to manipulation of plant life. He resides in the Yan Temple Clearing of the so-far unnamed forest country. He accepts only offerings of homemade food, even if it's fake food made by a child. A kind god, he visits his worshipers in their time of need and will occasionally show up in order to play with the children of his home country. He is known in the God's Realm for his child-like demeanor, though he will snap if he is pushed too far- and that's terrifying. He will either show himself as a lilac tanuki (Japanese Raccoon Dog), or as a Tanuki-hybrid (that's what his current art depicts). Though the first form points him out as a god, the second lets him blend in, as hybrids are normal in Crossroads Coast.

Likes: Food, Children, Rainbows, Sunny days, Animals, Swings, Laughter.

Dislikes: Fire, Plastics, Deep water, Politics, Winter.

Trivia:

- In Crossroads Coast, gods and goddesses aren't generally considered above the regular citizens. While they are the only ones with powers, they work in conjunction with the non-powered citizens to keep  everything about the world happy and healthy. Crossroads Coast is a happy, peaceful world.

- While Luyan resides in the forest country, he visits each country on their first day of spring and on occasions where the patron god of that country needs to be elsewhere.

- His 'birthday' is the first day that it is spring everywhere around their planet, as it all starts at different times. This day is also the first of the 5 day Yan Festival, celebrating spring and honoring Luyan himself. During this time, the forest country and the Yan Temple get lots of visitors.
