Truth be told, he wouldn’t change a thing about it. It may have been tiresome, but such were the qualities that made Hana well, Hana. He would not have married this luminous ball of sunshine had it not been for puns, her overabundant demeanor, her sheer ability to be the inkling of hope in his heart once untrusting. She had squeezed her way into his life, demanded a place with such loud determination that he would not have it any other way. It felt right. No one else could quite possibly belong as well as she had. As well as she does, continuously.

His features softened and he tipped his head towards her, gently nuzzling into the side of her face. Though he could not speak the words that weighed on his heart time and time again, he hoped that his actions could do more than convey his feelings to her. If there was one thing he knew for certain about Hana, it was that however demanding she may be, however much she may wish to HEAR the words spoken to her, he knew she understood his small affectionate actions just as well as she would his words. Though there were times she was beyond deserving to hear them as well, however.

“Helly,” She began softly, her smile warm, loving. She turned her head to nuzzle back, and a few blossoms drifted by their faces, a few landing neatly in Helladius’ mane, others in Hana’s hair. “Thank you.”

“Of course.” He responded quietly. “You deserve to know.” He said at last.

“I know,” She said, cocky but merely teasing. And at that he laughed, kind, genuine.

“And you deserve more. Always. I love you, Hana.”
