Shadow

   Shadow reigns from a world simply known as the Shadow World. Much like a typical shadow, he does pose as ones shadow. The Shadow People were a species of Shadows whose sole-purpose was to protect their 'Person'. Back in his days as a Possessed Shadow, his Person was known as Celeste. A female. This does mean that at the time Shadow was known to be a female. Shadow was given the name he bares now simply because his Person cared not what he was called. Thus the name. This enacted that detail that Shadow would lose their name they held in the Shadow World and has since forgotten his 'True Name' and honestly has done little to remember it.

   Shadows time with his Person , Celeste was a short lived one. For when their time together was done and over with, Shadow was not pleased with how she turned out. Never caring for others, not even herself. Celeste was very willingly oblivious to the world around her. Having been a straight A student and excelling in near everything she tried, she saw no other reason for much bother with other beings and activities not deemed important to her. Upset and disgusted by this mindset, Shadow did what they thought best. And took over her soul. This caused Celeste to be non-existent in her human life. She was forgotten. Not even a speck of a memory or evidence of her ever existing. 

  With a soul now, Shadow was able to expand his horizons in abilities. He'd later on even learn the ability to shift. Becoming the Shadow to other beings and even objects. One day this would lead Shadow to stumbling upon a being known as Asha. Very young at the time Asha was, Shadow was most curious of such an odd being wondering the Worlds all alone. At least...he thought they were alone. Shadow soon discovered the oddball yet cunning and skilled Fae held more to them then he first thought.

  Asha aside, Shadow spent his years learning about himself while on travel with Asha as their Shadow. It was the only way he was able to travel through Realms safely anyways. At one point, Asha had settled down with what Shadow thought would be their first and only family. Finding romance even for himself with another. One major factor at this point in time was that Shadow was not a 'He' but a 'She'. Their beautiful physique had been what had one them a charming and handsome mate. For a time. 

  With more time to explore themselves and to find the things they truly liked, Shadow one day stumbled upon the ability to shift their phsyicality. Which brought on the want to try to be the other gender. Spending time as male, Shadow soon found it felt so much more right for them for some reason. But after seeking for an answer for hours upon hours, Shadow decided that it just felt right. And spoke it over with their soon to be husband. Fate would be cruel this time around to the poor being as it was the turmoil that would split Shadow from their first love. The ex-fiance deciding that he only loved the female aspect of Shadow. And so he left.

  Leaving Shadow with their adopted yet sickly child, Grell. Shadow swore to only devote his time into taking care of the child. And so his entire world was shaped around the boy.  Showcasing that Shadow was more than a fine single parent, Grell grew to his teens with only minor illness. Shadow is very protective of Grell but also knows when to give the boy space. Not that he needs much as he ,too , is always with Shadow. Be it running errands around the Kingdom or simply helping with a training class. Or any other small thing. 

   Romance wise, Shadow is not looking for anything too soon. He focuses on other things that need to be done. Such as making sure Grell has his medicines when needed and other duties of his as a 'Council Aspect' or just personal things. He's in no rush to be with anything. 

  Another thing to add to Shadow is that since he was accepted into the Aspect Council of Asha, he was bestowed with an Inkling. A white one as Asha already have the Dark Align. And while Shadow has never been one to be too keen on the species, he accepted the gift as he still holds Asha in a special place of his heart. Even if the Fae gets on his nerves half the time with their life choices, if it were not for them, Shadow would possibly still be in that glum of a world. Neer to see the wonders he'd seen. Or met the joy of his life; Grell.
