amani is a fan demon concept from the webcomic ava's demon, i have a lot of personal connection with her because she's like everything else around here for self-insert use.

amani is unpredictable and represents my struggle with mood swings and feeling like a real person. i dont want to talk about it too in depth here but she makes me feel. hmm. i feel like if i took more time to look into her concept and the way demons work in the avas demon universe i could do some moderate soul-searching but i just. cant do that. i dont have proper venting channels for any of that stuff and so instead: i have amani! amani is attached to cas, another half of the self-insert process.
amani's name can be rearranged into 'mania' and this will be a little confusing if you don't read the webcomic but:

amani is manic, shes a small but powerful demon, and her powers/theme is valuable jewels and strong metals. wants to be coveted. she will hold anyone hostage with her massive hair, and will do anything to get her way. she is a performer at heart and she excels in manipulation. she is the manic pixie dream girl... and she'll use it against you. if shes using her powers she grows incredibly cold and turns blue. you are only useful to her if you do what she tells you, and she has never heard of the term 'empathy'; if you are not useful... consider yourself dead.
cas... cas just wants to feel real. she wants to feel worthy of being loved, and be allowed to like things because she's a person, and she's TIRED of always making herself smaller, she's TIRED of catering to others before herself, she's TIRED of not having anything to call her own. shes TIRED of not having any interests, shes TIRED of not having a shred of motivation. she wants power, she wants money, she wants to be a real person. she's sick of being pinocchio. making a pact with amani was a mistake and she knows it but for now... for now she's getting what she wants. but...what does amani want?
anyway amani's colour scheme and theme is shades of pink, hearts, jewels, precious metals, and restraining others (never herself).
