Vira Mukhopadhyay's Comments

Vira stared at the card with the earrings in it. He'd nearly even forgotten it was Valentine's Day. Sure, XiaoYun had briefly mentioned it, in a "happy holidays" kind of way, but he'd been clear about not having any interest in it and wished his training partner a good time while delivering her cards and gifts. It was just a corporate holiday, in the end, after all. He'd more often attended events for the company than do anything else -- though his sisters had started a tradition of making cards for him in the past couple years, which was very cute, he had to admit. This, though, this was...weird. Sabrina was certainly a friend, of course! And that was kind of the point of this holiday, right? Even if Vira didn't do anything for it, it made sense that a couple friends would bring it up around him. Yeah, it totally made sense. Completely normal, out in the regular world.

Vira ran a finger along the length of the start charm. He needed to stop staring. What if XiaoYun returned and caught him looking like some child on Christmas? Decisively, he returned to his desk to continue studying, placing the card in the desk drawer.
