Leo is somehow both exactly the person he seems to be, and the exact opposite of who he seems to be. Gifted in math and the sciences from a young age, his parents had high hopes for him, and admittedly he is an excellent student. He's also reckless as all hell.

Leo was arrested for underage drinking and street racing about two days after Ash entered the facility. The judge gave his family a deal where Leo would have no criminal record, but he would have to attend the facility for one term. Since he lived at home, he wasn't given a choice.

Within the facility, Leo is charming and gets along well with everyone; he's one of the few people Ash can get along with, even. He's got a friendly, easygoing nature, although he can be a bit awkward at times. Even the facility administration sees him as a normal kid who got caught misbehaving.
