An overly enthusiastic new student at Little Homeschool, Nephrite loves to try new things, especially human things. She can be a bit of a handful and wears everyone out. She doesn't quite fit in with the other gems or the humans, but pretends not to notice. She doesn't want to fly anymore, but isn't sure just where she belongs yet. She helps the quartzes run Mr. Smiley's amusement park and arcade while she figures it out.
