A hard working, quiet but sweet Faelidh who was born to spread the magic of the festive spirit through his craft. Hawthorn is at his happiest when he's alone in his workshop making leaves, berries and special festive sparkle. While he's not much of a party animal himself, he takes great joy in knowing that other Faelidh and creatures alike enjoy his work. He is the kind of character you need to drag out of his shell, he so very rarely walks into social situations willingly.
Species lore
Faelidh are teeny little creatures that are responsible for the upkeep and care of worlds! There are two breeds - Artisans and Travellers. Artisans, the non winged ones, are responsible for creating anything that worlds may need, whether its dyes for changing leaves, a new winter fur coat for animals, crafting the morning dew, or creating snowflakes-they do it all! Travellers, the winged ones, are responsible for bringing the work that the Artisans have done and putting it into the specific world, as their wings enable them to cross through the veil from their world to others!
An Artisan, Hawthorn is an bit of a workaholic - he is a Faelidh who is determined to ensure that no festive season happens without its sparkle! While his primary job within the Winter caravan is crafting berries and leaves for festive foliage, he works overtime to make sure that the festive season is truly magical: by conjuring up glitter for ornaments and twinkle for lights. Because of his workaholic tendencies, he quite often neglects his social life.
Sister
His sister, Symphorica, is the Traveller Faelidh who delivers his festive crafts to wherever they’re needed. Their personalities suit their roles: while Hawthorn prefers to work in solitude, Symph loves nothing more than to spread her wings and fill the world with sparkle. Unlike Hawthorn, she has a booming social life and many admirers of her placement of Hawthorn’s creations. Once she returns, Hawthorn is always happy to hear that his hard work pays off, although Symph longs for her brother to relax and enjoy himself with his friends. He’ll learn!
Childhood friend
Laver has been his friend since he was little! Apart from both being Artisan Faelidh, loving getting into mischief together and running off on adventures- they bonded on their love of plants. Their life choice lead them down different paths but they always make time to see each other when they are able. With Laver being the extrovered adventurer of two, there is no end to his amusing stories!
