| Ophelia is a single child, whose parents always seem to be "busy." Not that she ever complained aloud, but it was frustrating that they didn't pay her much attention. Growing up, Ophelia was used to being ignored and accepted it as her reality. She did not try to change her situation. Even in school, she accepted that it was probably her role to just quietly sit in the background. As much as she hated to admit it, Ophelia simply didn't have the courage to try changing her life. When she died, Ophelia's body was sunk to the bottom of a lake. She was never found. The necromancer who had killed her only succeeded in reviving her spirit and was immensely frustrated by her failure. For the weeks afterward, she followed Ophelia around in hopes of tying her spirit and body together for a successful necromancy. She did not care that Ophelia would be stuck in a decomposed body. Fortunately, someone did intervene. Another supernatural classmate, Eliot Durant, noticed that was happening. He stepped in to become the lonely Ophelia's new best friend and secret guardian. His initial objective was to help Ophelia change her lonely life after death and eventually move on... But as the pair got closer and closer, Eliot became more and more reluctant to let his new bestie pass on without him. |
