Angel Wing Alunite

Angel Wing Alunite is the fusion of Honey Dendrite and Violet Sapphire. This fusion appears frequently due to common platonic fusing between her components. Angel is a very stable fusion who combines the serenity and stability of Honey with the passion and bravery of Violet. Angel finds the crystal gems through Greg who informs them that there are still gems on Earth. They are ecstatic to learn that other gems got fed up with homeworlds structure and fought out and independent place for gems to live authentically.
Angel wears a maroon off the shoulder top tied into a halter over a dark plum sleeveless undershirt, maroon scarf tied around the waist, dark plum pants, and off white knee high boots with maroon trim and soles. They have pale, offwhite skin with maroon freckles, a heavy and curvy body type, and short wavy maroon hair with a lighter maroon-gray undercut. They have dark maroon shadows under their eyes. They don't have many of the marks of a traditional fusion and instead fuse to form a cohesive looking gem with two eyes, two arms, and two legs. Her gems appear on her belly and the back of her head, a complex, pale, off--white gem with red, maroon, and burgundy striping. She is about the same height as Jasper.
Angel is almost too patient, as she can spend years lost in thought if not interrupted. She is very artistic and gentle. She cares deeply for others but her passion for others manifests as an almost motherly care. She is very thoughtful, tactical and articulate. She is able to manage seeing bad futures, so while she is more melancholy than either Honey or Violet these futures don't manifest as anxiety as much in Angel as they do in Violet. They are very cautious, and fairly reserved.
Honey Dendrite and Violet Sapphire were struggling to escape, Honey was reluctant to change and Violet was paralyzed by the bad outcomes she was seeing, so the two fused to be able to take action in light of their fears. The two found their combined strengths complimented their flaws and brought them both comfort, so the two bonded and startd fusing platonically rather frequently.
Angel spent a lot of time underground, and a lot of time observing humans, and spend much of that time engaging thought experiments, thinking deeply, enjoying art and nature, and generally taking things slowly. The fusion stabilized greatly during this time, because uninterrupted they were able to stay fused for thousands of years with very few arguments. When the two learned that earth was uncolonized Violet started blaming Honey for being too slow and the fusion broke up for maybe the second or third time in 5000 years.
Skillset
- Master Archer: Angel is a pacifist, but will act when necessary. She believes that deadly precision is more kind than a sloppy win so will be meticulous with her work to avoid unnecessary suffering. She manifests her magmakinesis to create deadly arrows of flame, sharp stone, or meltingly hot magma.
- Superhuman Strength: Like most other gems, Honey has superhuman strength. She sacrifies some speed, but is comparibly much stronger than other non-fusion gems.
- Fusion Realm: Angel can turn her consciousness inward to her components so that they can support one another and maintain the stability of the fusion. She can spend introspective time in this meditative state to problem solve, as well.
- Weapon Size Augmentation: Angel can change the size of her weapon, and frequently does so with her bow to be able to fire multiple arrows.
- Shapeshifting: Like other era one gems Angel can shapeshift. She can do so longer than either of her components alone.
Unique Abilities
- Future Vision: Angel can engage Violet's ability to see bad futures, and becomes less worn out than violet because of Honey's groundedness and ability to thoughtfully contextualize these visions.
- Magmakinesis: Angel can manifest Honey's terrakinesis and Violet's pyrokinesis as a combined magmakinesis, usually involving superheating existing rock around her.

- Heat Resistance: Angel can resist the destructive heat of fire and lava.
Violet & Honey
Violet and Honey are the component gems who form Angel Wing Alunite. Their first fusion was intentional, intended to combine their skills to escape homeworld with more skill. After fusing the two realized that combining their very different personalities helped cancel out their flaws in ways that made them function better so the two started fusing more and more frequently out of comfort.
Greg Universe
Angel was never particularly scared to engage humans, learning about art and literature from them and found the ways they gave their life meaning w/o the very powerful encoding gems have fascinating and respectable. Greg, though, was the first human that Angel engaged with extensively and the person who introduced her to the crystal gems. Angel has a profound respect for Greg as a bard, because she has been pursuing the arts herself.
- Angel Wing Alunite was originally meant to be a permafusion gemsona, but I became attached to how her more dynamic components behaved separately, causing me to move her to a part-time fusion.
- Angel Wing Alunite learned art from observing humans and refers to it by its human name instead of as "meep morps"
