Vengeful . Reserved . Determined

A brilliant scholar and a devoted husband, Nicholas loved the life he had, he was a successful practitioner of both magic and alchemy and had a loving and loyal wife. They were both interested in the arts of magic and alchemy and helped each other develop new methods and even combine the two practices to unlock new potential in both subjects. The pair of hem were well known for their skills and experiments which often bought them a lot of business to help around the town in which they lived, with this reliable source of income the couple lived a very comfortable life and often spent some of the spare money on more books and chemicals to further their research. Their biggest accomplishment was using the secrets of bio alchemy and mixing with several forms of magic, this unlocked the rare ability for a human to transform into an animal at will, without needing to be born as a shapeshifter. Due to the mixing of both alchemy and magic, Nicholas was able to transform into an alchemical agouti husky which could use magic at will as well as bend the boundaries of time and space. When in this form, he goes by the code name of “Chronus”.

One day Nicholas’ wife went missing, after several days he managed to track the kidnapper down only to find the horrors which laid behind the person’s door. He saw masses of formulas on the walls which mixed alchemy and dark magic together to turn a person into a creature. As he travelled further into this house, he found out that he was too late to save his wife, she had been transformed into an Alchenoid, a tortured demonic creature made from alchemy and black magic. Knowing there was no way to change her back Nicholas killed the one he loved the most to put her out of her misery. Engulfed and fury he hunted the person responsible for transforming his wife and murdered him in cold blood whilst in his husky form. After he used the husky’s ability to engulf the house in blue fire, burning away everything within, the Alchenoid, the man, and all the man’s research. Broken hearted Nicholas returned home and locked himself away from the outside world.

During his time alone, Nicholas tried to concentrate on working out the true potential of his husky form. He was able to see that the canine he could turn into was not like any normal dog. In this form he found that he was able to teleport up to 100ft from his current location as well as slow down time to improve his reactions to certain situations, such as attacks. In addition to the fie ability he was aware of Nicholas also learnt how to control lightning and how to use it in addition to his fire abilities. Despite his success and progress in unlocking these new abilities in his husky form, Nicholas doesn’t feel the sense of pride one would expect, his world feels so empty without his wife, and he regularly gets flashbacks of that faithful day. However there are times when he teleports that he is certain he can feel the presence and love of his wife around him, as it was the research that she put her heart and soul into, which made this once thought impossible ability a reality.
