Empress needs to be in charge, which matches well with Cotton's desire to help others.
Friendly competition in turf wars, hunting each other the whole time.
A lot of humor, often holding onto bits for minutes at a time and going back to inside jokes.
Playful (consensual) bullying, with Empress acting aggressive and Cotton playing up how much they totally aren't happy about it.
Met during a turf war. Cotton kept splatting Empress, which led to him hunting Cotton for the rest of their matches that day. Soon after Empress started following Cotton around, "bullying" them with compliments.
Any bullying involves a gentle amount of physical force and lots of compliments because Empress finds Cotton adorable when they get flustered.
Physically affection, but never more than handholding and cuddling.
Enjoy carrying each other around. Empress likes to show off by carrying kid!form Cotton around.
