Being raised by a pride consisting of lions of all sorts of different personalities and backgrounds made Lasan open, tolerant and confident. He met and befriended most of them when his parents were busy and other lions had to become his temporary nannies. Some treated him like a precious jewel, spoiling him and pampering, others saw that as an opportunity to have some fun and act like cubs themselves. That also meant that Las had to adjust to new situations and circumstances. Combined with his natural curiosity it helped him become brave and inquisitive.

Being brought up by a pride captain made him responsible, disciplined and have faith in his own abilities. However, he did not take the jovial spirit after Fantom. Las is rather gullible, takes jokes too seriously and any critique deeply to heart.

He is confused about the current state of the world and wishes that all lions can live in peace, without hating each other for how they look or who they were born as. He hopes that everyone can be given a chance at a good life, as he was when he was just a cub.

Nothing is known for sure about Lasan’s past from before he was adopted by The Dreamcatchers. He was found as a cub on a dry, barren plain. He was saved from being eaten by a group of mischievous nightmares. How he ended up alone in the middle of nowhere is a mystery. The lions suspect that he was abandoned as no adults could be found in sigh, dead or alive. They might’ve used him as a decoy to get rid of the nightmares or left him to starve since there wasn’t enough prey in that unwelcoming land.

Despite the rough start he got another chance at life and was adopted by inexperienced, but good-natured parents. He ended up being raised by the whole pride and grew up surrounded by guardians, researchers and healers. He got to learn a variety of skills from all of them and explore different jobs within the clan. He got to know both nightmares and dreams with all types of personalities. That made him question the Moon Initiative and the centuries long lasting war. As far as he was concerned, there was no difference between the two sides and saw no reason why they shouldn’t all live in peace like the lions of his pride.
