He's not a babe of many words.  He doesn't even speak to Tasha or the kids too much, preferring to communicate his thoughts through expression and grunts.  That's not to say he's never talkative, or that he isn't friendly (to those he knows) of course.  He is quite stoic and steadfast, and almost unnervingly calm under pressure.  He's said to have a very warm and lovely smile.

He estranged himself from his parents, buckling under the pressures of his clan's lifestyle, and didn't even know they were killed.  He knows his sister is incredibly angry with him over it and works hard to try to earn her trust again.  She's he's only remaining link to his blood relatives, and he legitimately cares about her and wants to have a good relationship with her.

This is possibly because he is a bit of a broker for some shadier activities, and he worries of that side of him sneaking its way too close to his loved ones.
