Jack is a scampy kun-kun that enjoys causing mischief and havoc. He wants to be a knight, but seems to lack an understanding of what that means beyond "gets to wear armor and poke people with sharp pointy objects". Fortunately for all concerned, he tends to kick more than actually use that sword of his. And fortunately for him, that armor manages to protect him fairly well from the retaliation he frequently earns.
Thus, Jack makes his own kicky, cheerful, terrier-like way through the world. Mention a quest or a great deed, though, and he'll be on it like... well, a terrier on an old shoe. Or something like that.
