Oluine was born after Shiratori had a dalliance with Netsubin, a Pala that was quite the flirt at a local fair. Netsubin's owner was not in evidence, and it wasn't until Odilen was well away from the fair that she realized Shiratori had come back with more than just cotton candy!
Oluine is named the Ieldi word for "free" - a name given to the little pala by Odilen, in recognition of the little creatures' part-Ieldi past. Oluine is cheerful and mischievous, and a bit more 'together' than her mother.
