She is also very adventurous and can easily adapt to new environments, which factors into her dream of becoming a scout.

background ;; When Skipper was just old enough to be independent of her mother, at six months old, her mother died after a lethal fall from a clifftop. Skipper’s only memories of her mother consist of brief flashes of a loving voice and a slender, beautiful face rimmed by a dark mane. Although Skipper was brought up essentially without a maternal figure, she only occasionally longs for the second parent she has lost. She barely remembers what it is like to have a mother, as she was raised by her father and older sister, who both stayed remarkably strong through the grief of losing a family member.
Other than this mishap, Skipper had a fairly happy childhood. However, once she turned one year old and began training to heal wounds and take care of the foals of the kingdom as a Soare, Skipper has had serious difficulties learning these skills. She still tends to make a lot of mistakes, and she believes she is meant for a different, much more exciting role in the future. Skipper dreams of becoming a scout so she can travel the world and discover what it’s like to live in the other kingdoms, but to her disappointment, she must wait until she is older.
