Profile
Wheeljack is an orc fighter and adventurer.
Wheeljack is a stocky, muscular orc with brownish-green freckled, scarred skin and spiky black hair who often covers his lower face area with a scarf and protective mask. He wears dirty white leather armour and chainmail over a brown gambeson, grey pants and simple linen clothes with strips of green embroidery. His stuff is stored in a often-repaired leather backpack, and his weapons are stored on the back. Wheeljack's bare arms and fingers are heavily tattooed in a pattern of stripes and dots.
When the party explored one of cogwheel's many ancient structures at behest of the Rat King, Wheeljack found and kept a pair of goggles from the place. They're similar to the pair Rung wears.
Wheeljack is an outgoing, friendly person who tends to overstep boundaries on the occasion. He's eager to get along with and help people, and doing good things is viscerally satisfying to him. He can, however, be incredibly stubborn and sarcastic, and if he sets his mind on something, it's nigh impossible to persuade him to do something else. The tales of Wheeljack's hyperfocus are legendary - he won't rest until something's done. He's always happy to talk about a theory or new discovery of his, and loves it when people are interested in his alchemy and rune experiments.
An alchemist's apprentice and lover of tavern brawls, Wheeljack one day witnessed smugglers loading a group of what he assumed were kobolds onto ship when he went to get supplies at the harbour market. Not standing for any of that shit, he and his friend Ratchet took them on an freed what turned out to be young dragonborns - Sludge, Slag, Snarl and Swoop. The incident made him a bit of a local celebrity and helped uncover a slavery ring. Unfortunately, it also made the workshop of Wheeljack's boss Kaput a target - and after one failed attack on the place where he lived, worked and learned, Wheels decided to leave - though not before rallying his hometown to take down the slavers. After that, he became a wandering adventurer, helping where help was needed.
Sometime after he chose the adventurer's path, he met Ratchet, Rodimus and Drift, and the four formed a loose party, often meeting up to take on monsters and mayhem together. After Ratchet and Rodimus went after a mysterious legend, only keeping contact by letter, and Drift and Wheeljack had been wandering alone for a good while respectively, he eventually met back up with Drift to convince him to come to Cogwheel Village and check out the mysterious ruins there. The village proved a wonderful place for adventures, and the two decided to stay until further notice from their other two friends, renting a room at an inn together.

Ratchet
They first met on an adventure, and if there's a problem somewhere and neither wits nor violence will help, you can bet your whole ass Wheeljack and Ratchet will huddle over magic science for a few hours and come up with something brilliant. Their different approaches to all manners of subjects keeps being a pleasant surprise for both of them. While Wheeljack's utter inability to respect anyone's personal space occasionaly raises his hackles, Ratchet is generally happy around Wheeljack, and vice versa.
Drift
Buds.
Rodimus
Wheeljack has a soft spot for the goblin bard, viewing him as a little brother of sorts. While he sometimes bemoans his lack of tactical thinking, he recognizes Rodimus' courage and goodwill. The two like to play dice games and spar together in their free time.
Mirage
While in Cogwheel, Wheeljack likes to head to "Visages" when he feels like getting a nice cocktail. Mirage mainly knows him as "that asshole who keeps taking half an hour to choose his drink".
- Wheeljack often has problems making decisions.
- He remembers all of his - often absurd - dreams.
- Wheeljack might or might not have bought out an entire tavern's supply of alcohol for one of his and Ratchet's alchemical undertakings.
- He doesn't know his birth clan.
