TO ARTISTS: Her red necklace is optional but earrings are not. Feel free to draw her with any sort of hairstyle (because I am not consistent lol).
Shigeru is a tall woman with an slender figure. Her pallid skin tone is complemented by her similarly dull hair and eye colors, and contrasted by the constant, bright flush on her cheeks. It gives her a "tipsy" expression which is further shown by her slightly lidded eyes. She has very full lashes. Her pupil is gray, not black. Her blanched hair goes down to her hips and is commonly half-tied up in the back by plain hair sticks with red jewels on the end.
She wears the common Shinigami uniform, albeit with an obi tied taisho-style. Underneath her shihakusho/hakama, she wears a black sheer bodysuit tucked into the usual Shinigami sandals/socks. (She keeps most of her body covered with at least some fabric.) It does not cover her palms or fingers, but instead attaches to her middle finger. Her sandals have slight heels. Her accessories include a simple black posture collar and red beaded earrings and necklace. Her nails are long and usually painted red.
[ISFJ] Shigeru is well known in Soul Society for her calm, polite nature that comes with maturity. She is also infamous for experiencing many tragedies. She usually keeps a neutral expression and isn't particularly expressive to the average shinigami. It is somewhat challenging to get her to talk about herself, and thus very hard to get to know her. Further, Shigeru is often more focused on her work than building friendships, making her appear more aloof.
If she grows close to someone, however, she is quite the bleeding heart and makes a doggedly loyal friend. Shigeru is quite gentle and compassionate towards most people, even if she doesn't know them, but when it comes to her loved ones she is particularly selfless.
She, somewhat unlike most other nobles, has an extremely strong sense of duty to Shinigami and humans, and believes she is the one who must perform the dirty tasks needed for their safety. She is seen as an ideal Soul Reaper, filled with passion for her work and able to stave off distractions. The only thing that means more to her than her work is those she loves. She is willing to give everything, even her life, without hesitation for someone she cares for.

- Shigeru excels at weaving, and typically takes it up in her free time to weave high quality fabrics.
- Her name, which is very masculine, is familial.
- If she ever gets the chance, she loves to see real-world cinema, and behind that she loves theatre. (Her favorite movie is The Godfather.)
- Shigeru works a lot with the Shinigami Women's Association as a photoshoot planner; she also had her own photo collection published titled "Toxic." It was rather popular for the difference from Shigeru's normal reserved personality.
- She enjoys gambling rarely.
- She's kind of a masochist.
- Her favorite foods are imoni and pickled daikon. She hates sweets and alcohol.
- She addresses people by last name + honorific, the only exception being addressing her significant other directly (Ex. Aizen-taichou in public, Sousuke in private).
- She tries out every weird homeopathic remedy when she's sick, even though she's in the research squad and should know better.
- She collects catfish items. Think tiny ceramic catfish or fabric with catfish on it.
- She has great disdain for the 11th Division.
- Shigeru is canonically very beautiful, but also kind of an acquired taste. (She's my prettiest oc, but she's also the most devoted to her work and the most reserved)
- She really likes to sew for her friends using the fabrics she has woven, but accidentally makes them really formal clothes that they never get a chance to wear.
- Her least favorite foods are sugary sweets.
- She gets along really well with kids, despite not having a motherly side. However, she's terrified of somehow hurting them.
- She tried to improve her calligraphy to keep up with Aizen, but she has very bad handwriting from working in the 12th Division.

- She always tries to dress modestly and cover herself ever since she achieved her Bankai.
- She really likes perfume; whenever someone goes to the Human World she asks them to get her a different kind. Her current favorite is YSL's Mon Paris.
- She became moderately famous within the last 100 years in Soul Society for publishing a collection of love poems (which she had written for Aizen), especially among young women.
