Ahiru definitely was raised in a house full of boys with maybe... 2 older brothers?? And she grew up watching hero shows all the time and grew obsessed She befriended Jade at an early age (I think Jade is a rich girl?? I dont remember) so they're childhood friends and Jade is VERY aware of Ahiru's quirkiness Ahiru has never been v popular due to her annoying personality and obsession towards heroes One of her brothers is an otaku (so she learns about magical girls from him, but also people would pick on her bc her brother is lame) Another is a flirty boi aka gigolo COUGH (so when Ahiru develops a crush on Sun her brother gives her tips but she only embarrasses herself that way) Shes an average to below average student who prioritizes having fun and being heroic over her studies Shes p strong so while she wasnt exactly well liked, people didnt bully her bc she'd fight back She once tried to be ladylike for her entire time in junior high but she hated it and went back to her old ways when she went into a hs where no one knew her
Ahiru recieves her mascot first, and it literally drops right onto her head as shes heading to school She puts it in her bag bc "its mysterious! But I have to get to class" and it reacts v strongly to her heroic attitude/obsession with being a hero Ahiru notices how her bag looks like its carrying what looks like a large egg in the middle of class, and then notices that smth very strange is happening, so she excuses herself quickly and rushes to the bathroom with her egg. Shes spooked to hell aka falls over when it hatches and introduces itself, but then gets super excited and bouncy - Shes tasked with finding the other mascots+magical birb girls and her mascot asks if she knows of any other "heroic" person So... she goes to her best friend Jade

Magical Girl Team Member - Grey - Korean Crow Tit. Ari hates Ahiru and insults Ahiru quite often. Ahiru sees Ari as a friend.

An otaku who works at a convenience store, mostly to afford his obsession of anime shows and figurines. He is one of the main influences for Ahiru's love of Magical Girls and Heroes. While he may yell at her a lot if she gets into his stuff, the two have a very good relationship. One of the causes of Ahiru's bullying growing up

A gigolo with a big ego, he flirts with any female he comes across. He works as a host to help support his hopeless father and his siblings. He's surprisingly a huge siscon towards Ahiru. His siscon attitude means that he has,,,, a lot of pictures of Ahiru. He carries a picture of her as a child in his wallet, and he has a picture of her in his room as well. Him and Niman don't see eye to eye very well, so while they both love Ahiru and interact pleasantly with each other when she's around, they otherwise don't talk or even make eye contact with each other.
