Beau is relatively petite at 159 cm, but has a somewhat athletic figure. Her skin is tanned with a splattering of freckles here and there, most prominently on her nose bridge. She has large dark golden eyes and wears round, tortoise shell glasses when reading. Her ears have many piercings (that she has allowed to close up), but she only wears hoops/jewels in two holes on her earlobe. She has distinguishing large, fluffy eyebrows. Her hair is a dark olive-y green.
She tries to wear comfortable clothing to travel/explore but otherwise wears very chic outfits. Beau appears somewhat tomboyish in her travelling uniform. She wears a black romper with a belt to hold her pokeballs/medicine, but also carries a backpack with her. Since Galar has a lot of cold areas, she carries tights and wears her puffy, white jacket. She uses a black and olive challenger glove. She was given a Dynamax band by the professor when she started participating in the Gym Challenge, and re-skinned it to her aesthetic. Her Rotom Phone also has a skin on it.
Beau's hair is long, about to her waist, and she alternates tying it up or not. She likes to wear hair accessories, such as clips and her tied bandanna, and style it in twin buns often. Sometimes she will wear berets or beanies.
Beau's Galar league number is 629 [goroawase for "logic"].
Beau appears very serious, especially in regard to her work. She might come off as a bit brooding because she gets so focused on things. In truth, she's simply a bit shy, and worries that she won't be seen as intelligent in academics without a stoic facade. She can be very tough on herself and struggles to see her own successes sometimes.
Beau is more compassionate when it comes to other people and Pokemon. She is very generous, and gentle, even if she doesn't show it so obviously. She is the type to buy gifts for people just because the item made her think of them or write notes of encouragement when she notices someone's down--but she won't openly take credit for it.
She's very independent and sometimes has a hard time pulling herself away from her work. When she isn't studying or writing, though, she is capricious and loves to explore--marketplaces, backpacking treks, or any other new thing to do.
Birthplace: Cyllage City, Kalos
Beau grew up in Kalos--born on the coast, but traveled the region as a teenager. Her parents were both high level researchers in Ambrette at the aquarium and fossil lab, respectively. As such, she was often left alone as a child (with no siblings) and would spend most of her time on the rocky beaches or even going to the lab on her own. She loved rocks and their history, stating they would never leave her and she could always return to them. She attended school and wanted to be a lab tech herself, but struggled a lot with the necessary classes. She wasn't good at any science and could hardly do math; instead, she excelled in her gen ed history courses. She was scared to disappoint her parents by telling them she couldn't follow them.
So, at a loss, Beau decided to travel abroad to Galar. She didn't tell her parents, and they believe she's still in school. In reality, she's beginning research to write a book on comparative myth and anthropology between Kalos and Galar (maybe other regions in the future!). While researching, Beau also wants to get the full cultural experience of the Gym Challenge, especially because she did travel and battle the Kalos gyms.
Beau joined the Gym Challenge at the same time as Hop, Victor, Marnie, and Bede. Although she was used to being alone, and quite comfortable with only the company of her Pokemon, she was essentially forced into friendship with the other competitors while they traveled the same path. Having been given a Pokedex by Professor Magnolia, she really felt like she was getting a new start.

- She is tends to overcook her curry and so none of her Pokemon like it...

- Beau attends seminars and lectures at Hammerlocke University, and intends to enroll there to finish school and her research.
- Beau is actually a far better battler than she (or anyone else) gives herself credit for, able to both raise and mega evolve her Tyranitar. It's entirely due to her passion for understanding her Pokemon and her gentle temperment.
- She finds herself sending a lot of her Pokemon to help Galar Minerals, and ends up getting sponsored by them.
- Her battling style is rather strategic, picked up from growing up next to a gym.
- She is scared of Prof. Magnolia. She prefers Sycamore.
- She loves fossil Pokemon, but despises the ones in Galar, especially since she knows good fossil restoration.
- Being from Cyllage, she is a great biker in regards to stamina and speed. She can even do some tricks.
