Calanthe is a student at a prestigious feline magic academy known as the Seminary, studying as a fos louloúdi fire elementalist, with hopes to someday graduate to the level of nýchta anthízei. Additionally to this role, she serves as the current Archigos of the Sitira Winglet, alongside the enigmatic Aimatiri of Krinos and the fierce Desmi of Asteri.
