No, don't guess. It's him. It's Aerico.

Working as a record keeper and de-facto librarian, Aerico tends to keep to himself and prefers if everyone do the same. You're allowed to come in and use the library resources but if you whisper too loudly (or too much) or happen to put something back in the wrong place, he'll be on you in an instant to berate you. Wind up on Aerico's blacklist and you'll be barred from the only comprehensive source of information in Aralia so please mind your step.

History

Nobody knows much about Aerico's life prior to Aralia and he prefers to keep it that way.

That said, rumor has it has was never supposed to be here at all; Lucifer only gave him a job as record keeper when the previous one disappeared weeks to retirement. The only people that know what exactly he did in his pre-Aralia life are the anonymous enforcer who contributed to his initial contract and the king himself. However, based on his personality and secrecy, a lot of people assume he did something bad and a few of the more annoying residents (like Alice and Baphomet) periodically try to goad Lucifer into telling them by running their theories past him and watching his reaction. So far the only thing Lucifer has given away is that Aerico did something criminal.

He was under comprehensive surveillance for most of his stay and only recently have the reigns been loosened. Not much has changed though; he always threatened to torture people before and he still continues to do it. Not that he ever does... right? Because that would be against the rules, the only things he seems to love... right?
