Hematite is upbeat, flirty, and a chronic liar. He has a tendency to completely disregard the consiquences of his actions- fortunately, he's very good at talking his way out of the problems that result from this. In his professional life, he puts on a show of complete confidence to hide the fact that he has no idea what he's doing.

Hematite is a defective gem from late Era 1. A Hematite's main job is to create iron fillings to temporarily fix cracked or chipped gems until they can be healed by a Diamond, but he has no such ability. Rather than admit this and surely be shattered, he creates fake "cures" out of any materials he can find to at least... sort of help his patients. It's common for gems to be quite unhappy with his services, so he always keeps his awesome lawyer boyfriend around. ;D
