As a young cub Elea loved playing with his older sister Chagina even after she was tuckered our from the hunt.They would always play inside the clearing or by the river banks no matter the season.She taught him to pounce on the bugs and how to start working on his roar.El wanted to be a warrior when he grew up but he gave up on that dream after the accident.It was cold and bitter during the seasons of Midwinter and Elea was out playing by the banks with some other cubs.

Naledi and Chagina were all watching them and calling out to them whenever they got too close to the ice.Elea went bounding after a field mouse but slipped on some black ice.He went skidding into the middle of the lake where the ice was the thinnest this season.Poor Elea broke through the ice and went under. Naledi had went sprinting for her son and got him pulling him out and running him to the healers den.She had quickly started licking her son to warm him up and get the circulation flowing through his body again.Elea was in the healers den for three days after that and he was much different, he had seen something when he went under and it was his guardian spirit.He was given visions and the ability to talk to spirits when he went into under but he never told anyone till he became a adult.He became a shaman and rani helped him control his powers to channel them for good
