About
Their mother was a Gael warrior and hunter, renowned in her tribe. Their father was a fae with the traits of a deer who lived deep in the forests. They were called Oanez by their mother, a name meaning lamb, with the intent of hiding their father's identity. Having fae blood, they aged very slowly compared to the humans around them. They were still a child at age 40 when their mother died. The elders of their tribe took them in as a ward. They frequently journeyed into the forests, feeling at home there. Deep in the forests, they met a pair of dragon-blooded sisters from another tribe, Ki and Kalara. The sisters watched over them. One day, Ki encountered their father in the forests and brought them to him. He called them Gwenneg, meaning little treasure. He taught them warding magic and told stories of storing feelings in marbles. Years pass and Ki and Kalara leave the Gael lands, and eventually, their father does as well.
Without their friends and their father, they stop venturing into the forest. No matter how much the humans try to train them in battle, they have no interest in fighting. They are trained in housewifery, learning things like tailoring. In 2003c they are married to Staubin, a fae-blooded sorcerer with raccoon traits. As years pass, countless tribe leaders rise to power and die. When an opening arises, and Staubin is denied a position, the two of them leave and found their own tribe- The Blue Stag. They take the name Maël, meaning prince or leader. They have a child together, named Brillig. While the tribe never grows beyond the family, other tribes hear rumor and consider it a threat. Eventually, a tribe offers Staubin leadership in exchange for destroying The Blue Stag. He accepts the offer with the intent of telling Maël to run. They volunteer to die to give Staubin power.
Decades later, early in the 10th year of the Age of Adelrune, they awoke, alive again, on a muddy street in Port Frey. Since returning, they have found a faith and a family in the moon tribe. As part of the tribe, they have been given the name Shaal-Het, or Song of Purpose, which they wear with pride. They have also received the title Xy'Guzinn, or Scholar of the Known, for their work for the tribe, studying and researching. They have married Sya'Tare, a half-fae with peacock traits, and Hazel Wellverse, a human from Ad Decimum. Staubin too returned, as did Brillig, and the family is reunited under the moons light. They have been given a position in the Unity Government, acting as the Intendant to the Gael. It is a lower level position, but it has great room for growth and pays them well enough.
